The GKB Drainmaster, featuring 2 or 3 cutting wheels spaced at 50cm or 1m intervals, creates channels up to 23cm deep. Simultaneously filling these channels with sand results in a stable surface with improved, long-lasting drainage. Mick praises the Drainmaster for conducting multiple operations in a single pass, saving time and avoiding the need for multiple machines.
“We purchased our first Drainmaster in 2010, and a second one more recently, both in regular use between March and October,” says Mick. Last year, they completed work on over 20 pitches, including natural turf and hybrid pitches.
