Nine outstanding ornamental horticulture growers from across the globe have been announced as finalists for the highly coveted AIPH International Grower of the Year Awards 2024 (IGOTY).
Organized by the International Association of Horticultural Producers (AIPH) in collaboration with Host Sponsor IPM Essen and Founding Partner FloraCulture International (FCI), these awards recognize excellence in ornamental production, celebrating the ‘best of the best’ in the industry.
The winners will be revealed at an Awards Ceremony on January 23, 2024, at IPM Essen. The ceremony will be hosted by Michael Perry, widely known as Mr. Plant Geek, and Sirekit Mol, Head of Commercial Operations for Beekenkamp Plants BV. Prior to the ceremony, AIPH will present ‘Seeds of Success,’ featuring keynote speaker Ynzo van Zanten and a panel discussion with past IGOTY winners.

The IGOTY Awards 2024 encompass four categories: Finished Plants and Trees, Cut Flowers and Bulbs, Young Plants, and Sustainability. The pinnacle of the accolades is the title of ‘AIPH International Grower of the Year 2022,’ accompanied by the prestigious ‘Gold Rose’ award.
An esteemed international jury of industry experts, led by Horticultural Consultant Mr. Tim Edwards, rigorously evaluated the entries based on criteria such as economic performance, innovation, market insight, sustainability, and human resources.
Chair of the jury, Tim Edwards, commented on the finalists, stating, “From many high-quality entries, it is always a difficult job to select those companies that should go forward for prizes in this important competition. Those that have reached this list can be sincerely proud of having done so. It is thrilling to see such high-quality businesses operating in our industry.”
