The completion of this acquisition on Friday, 2nd February, signifies Bells Horticultural’s dedication to carrying forward the esteemed legacy of Peter Beales Roses. This move ensures the sustained availability of one of the finest and most diverse selections of roses in the market, maintaining the brands’ shared reputation for quality and excellence.

As a stalwart in the horticultural sector, Bells Horticultural boasts extensive experience as a commercial nursery grower of indoor, outdoor, and perennial plants. Operating a 30-acre modern glass house production site, heated by a 3MW biomass boiler, the company supplies many of the UK’s largest multiples. The acquisition adds one of the most beloved and iconic rose brands, Peter Beales Roses, to their portfolio, signaling a new era for the 28-time gold medal winner at RHS Chelsea.

While both businesses plan to operate independently, the Bells team anticipates various benefits resulting from the acquisition. Wholesale supply of Peter Beales Roses to garden centres will continue through the existing supply partner, Whartons Roses.
