APF 2024 Celebrates 200th Exhibitor Milestone

The organisers of APF 2024 are thrilled to announce the booking of their 200th exhibitor for the upcoming event at Ragley Estate, Warwickshire, scheduled for 19th to 21st September 2024. Serra Sawmills has confirmed their attendance for the first time, adding to the excitement of the occasion.

Ian Millward, Exhibition Secretary, expressed his delight, stating, “We are delighted to welcome Serra Sawmills to the APF show for the first time. The 3800m of demonstration frontage is now 85% booked and more bookings are coming in every day. The show’s reputation for being the place to demonstrate your products and equipment and sell them into the forestry, woodland, arboriculture is a major attraction to exhibitors given they will have a targeted audience of 23 000 visitors. We are well on course to match the 300 exhibitors we had at APF 2022.”

In addition to the impressive exhibitor lineup and £80 million worth of machinery, visitors can expect an expanded range of events and competitions. Highlights include the Husqvarna World 25m Pole Climbing Championships, the A W Jenkinson and Tilhill European Chainsaw Carving Championships, the British Fencing Championships, APF Tree Climbing Challenge, UK Forwarder Driving Championships, APF UK Lumberjack Championships, traditional woodland crafts, and horse logging demonstrations.

APF 2024, marking its 24th exhibition, will be held at Ragley Estate from 19th to 21st September 2024. This biannual event returns to Ragley Estate following successful editions in 2004, 2006, 2012, 2014, 2016, 2018, and 2022.

As the leading exhibition in the UK for the forestry, woodland, arboriculture, fencing, trees, and timbers sectors, APF 2024 is expected to attract over 320 exhibitors and 25,000 visitors, 95% of whom are trade professionals. The event showcases cutting-edge machinery and technology alongside traditional woodland crafts and horse logging.

A comprehensive seminar programme will feature industry experts discussing topical issues such as plant health, pest and diseases, technology, safety and training, marketing, wood fuel, and wood processing, covering all aspects of the industry.

The exhibition’s economic impact extends beyond its primary venue, with over 2000 exhibitor staff and thousands of visitors projected to inject over £1 million into the local economy through hotel bookings and dining.

Featuring a 1900m demonstration circuit and over 2½ miles of working machinery, APF 2024 promises an impressive display of machinery, estimated at £80 million.
