Charlie Seager: A Valuable Addition to Agrovista Amenity
Based in Grimsby, Sheffield, Peterborough, Leicester, and Nottingham, Charlie Seager boasts a rich background in sports turf management. His journey began as a volunteer groundsman at a local cricket club, eventually leading to significant roles at Rugby School and Warwick School. Managing a diverse range of areas, from a 190-acre parkland to a 9-hole golf course, cricket pitches, and rugby fields, Charlie brings invaluable expertise, including complete pitch reconstructions.
Expressing his enthusiasm for joining Agrovista Amenity, Charlie shares, “I’m proud to be part of one of the industry’s leading companies and to be able to offer quality products and advice.” Inspired by the support he received from his previous Agrovista representative, Mark Allen, Charlie aims to replicate that dedication by advising and supporting industry professionals.
Actively engaged in local cricket and rugby clubs, Charlie, along with his partner, enjoys dog walks and shares a passion for live music events.
Matt Davis: Transitioning from Greenkeeping to Amenity Specialist
Covering Essex, Norfolk, Suffolk, and Cambridge, Matt Davis has had a remarkable career journey. Starting as an apprentice at Brockett Hall Golf Club, Matt progressed to become a course manager at the age of 27. With experiences at Arkley, Hazlewood golf courses, and an 18-year tenure at The Cambridgeshire, Matt brings a wealth of knowledge to Agrovista Amenity.
Matt’s decision to join Agrovista Amenity was driven by a desire for change and challenge. “It was now or never to try something different, and I wanted to challenge myself,” says Matt. Thrilled to be part of a supportive team, Matt appreciates Agrovista’s commitment to staff development and investment.
In his role, Matt aspires to become a trusted expert, providing sound advice and earning respect within the industry. Outside of work, Matt enjoys family time, is a football and boxing enthusiast, and engages in DIY projects at his cottage.
