Glorious June, the month of ‘Pride’, a celebration for the LGBTQ+ community. Seedball truly supports being proud of who we are on the inside and having the freedom to shine truthfully outwards.
Seedball is super proud to be part of the Pride Movement. Ana and Emily Attlee, conservation scientists and founders of the wildflower seed company Seedball, met whilst studying for a Masters in Conservation at the University of Leeds. Married in 2010 and now with three children together, they live, work and breathe their mission to help wildlife, improve biodiversity and feed the bees.
The company ethos is very much about looking out for nature in all its forms. Growing any flowers will help feed the bees and butterflies but growing a few native wildflowers is really beneficial to so many more insects and pollinators.
Hurrah for Pride!
To celebrate Pride month Seedball would like to encourage everyone to grow a rainbow of flowers to protect the future and have released a limited-edition Rainbow seed box filled with beautiful native wildflowers for garden beds and pots. Simply scatter and let nature do the rest.
We have also compiled a list of rainbow coloured bee-friendly flowers
Here are just a few of the colourful blooms you could choose to grow in your space that are excellent for pollinators like bees and butterflies.
