Do not add a lot of extra nutrients to their soil. Excessive nutrients, especially nitrogen can cause the leaves to turn yellow. Do not try to grow lavender in humid conditions as they prefer dry air. Lavender can be easily propagated from cuttings taken just after it has flowered. Just take a cutting from a stem without flower buds. Remove the lower leaves and plant in potting compost making sure to keep them well watered. lavender does not require much aftercare apart from a light haircut once a year. Do not cut in to old wood as they won't recover. <br>
