The KENSINGTON  –  Delightfully posh and proud to be a traditional shed

With the abundance of summer houses, log cabins and garden rooms now available to buyers, The Posh Shed Company is proud to launch its very latest product.

A shed.

The Kensington, a sister product to the company’s stylish Chelsea model, is just a shed – but it’s a very proud and delightfully posh shed. And it’s available in three different build options – Posh, Very Posh and Unbelievably Posh.

The Unbelievably Posh Kensington is a palace of a shed. It includes guttering, a solar panel and a weathervane.

Whichever build model you choose, this attractive, smart, compact shed has a straight facia and plain glazed door. It is 6ft 6in (2m) wide x 3ft 3in (1m) deep, giving plenty of space for storage of those garden essentials.

The shed comes with an incredibly solid 18mm weather-proof floor. A coat of wood preservative is applied on the top surface to give an extra layer of protection.

The key to all outside buildings and the associated damp issues is to ensure that there is a good airflow under the shed, and the support beams built into the floor can sit on a suitable solid surface.

The Kensington’s walls are built using a unique triple wall construction developed by The Posh Shed Company and not available from any other shed manufacturer. Redwood timber is used for its superior strength and quality of finish over the more often used white wood.

Each part of the shed is important, but the roof initially takes the most weather. The Posh Shed Company roofs are built to withstand the worst the weather can throw at us.

The doors and windows are made in robust frames, which form part of the shed’s construction.

The Posh Kensington build option comes pressure treated and ready for self-assembly. A Very Posh Kensington is painted in your choice of colour, delivered and installed. An Unbelievably Posh Kensington is a shed fit for royalty.

The Kensington shed, as with every single product in The Posh Shed Company range, is endorsed by The Royal Horticultural Society (RHS), a badge only given to the British-based companies that offer some of the best hand-built products available.
