Mr Fothergill’s takes up the Pudsey ‘Bear’ Pong challenge for BBC Children in Need

The team at Mr Fothergill’s Seeds have been having great fun playing a game of Pudsey ‘Bear’ Pong to raise money for BBC Children in Need. All departments took part and there was ALOT of very healthy competition!
The fundraising will be added to sales of Sunflower Pudsey and Pumpkin Pudsey seeds, with 30p from each packet going directly to BBC Children in Need. Since partnering with the charity, Mr Fothergill’s has raised over £46,000 with the help of their customers who donate by purchasing the Pudsey themed packets.Ian Cross, Head of Marketing at Mr Fothergill’s said “Once again we have seen how generous our customers have been this year, despite the tough economic climate and we know how important it is for Children in Need to receive the donation. We are so pleased we are able to support such an important charity, plus, we’ve all managed to improve our ‘Bear’ pong skills in the process!”
Packets of Pumpkin Pudsey and Sunflower Pudsey BBC Children in Need were delighted with the amount raised, with Chantelle Kitchen, Partnerships Account Manager saying “Once again we’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone at Mr Fothergill’s and their customers for the continued support and donation this year. Our aim is to create lasting change for children and young people of the UK and the money raised will go directly to help fund local charities and projects who can do just that.”Sunflower Pudsey and Pumpkin Pudsey have an RRP of £1.99 and are available from selected garden retailers and in Homebase stores.
