Malvern Autumn Show 2025 announces special guest line up featuring top names from horticulture and super star bakers!

Top names from the worlds of horticulture and baking will take to the stages at this year’s much-anticipated Malvern Autumn Show when it returns to Three Counties Showground from 26th – 28th September 2025 for a spectacular seasonal celebration.

Malvern Autumn Show is the UK’s biggest annual harvest season celebrations, featuring the showstopping CANNA UK National Giant Vegetables Championship (which each year see new Guinness World Records set for outstandingly large crops), the prestigious RHS Flower Show, over 100 different Grow to Show classes in the Harvest Pavilion, plus barrows full of family fun!

Hosting the Garden Theatre at this year’s Malvern Autumn Show will be August Bernstein, head of The Raymond Blanc Gardening School at the two-Michelin-star Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons. August is a passionate gardener, sharing her skills with guests on how to grow food and nurture a beautiful garden, as well as with her followers on Instagram @augusts_garden.

August will welcome special guests to the Garden Theatre stage across the long weekend to share their experience and top tips during Gardeners Question Time, including BBC Gardeners’ World presenters Monty Don OBE and Adam Frost. Monty is one of the UK’s leading garden writers and broadcasters and has been the lead presenter on BBC Gardeners’ World since 2003. Adam is an award-winning British garden designer, multiple RHS gold medal winner, and familiar face on the BBC’s coverage of RHS flower shows, as well as The One Show and DIY SOS.

Also joining August on the Garden Theatre stage is Manoj Malde, TV and radio presenter, author and RHS ambassador. After 18 years working in the fashion industry, Manoj turned his creative eye towards horticulture, incorporating colour, texture and flair into his designs, as well as Indian influences. Manoj will be sharing his tips and experience on creating wildlife gardens. Irish gardening content creator and TV presenter, Niall McCauley, will also take to the Garden Theatre stage. Niall’s popular YouTube channel ‘Niall Gardens’ has amassed over 80,000 keen followers, and he’s known for presenting gardening segments on ITV and RTE, as well as winning the GMG Alan Titchmarsh New Talent of the Year Award in 2022 and contributing to The Irish Garden magazine. Completing the Garden Theatre line up for 2025 are Kate Cotterill, CEO of She Grows Veg, who will be sharing the story behind the creation of her UK company which sells over 150 heirloom variety of seeds for edibles, and regular guest of the show, Jonathan Moseley (leading floral designer, writer and broadcaster), who will be celebrating the arrival of autumn with glorious seasonal arrangements.

After a successful debut at last year’s Malvern Autumn Show, the much-loved The Great Malvern Cake Off tent will return, hosted by chef, author and presenter, Marcus Bean. Marcus is a regular on ITV’s This Morning, creating quick and tasty recipes that can be easily replicated at home, using as much local and seasonal produce as possible. Marcus is a self-taught chef and the winner of Channel 4’s Iron Chef UK in 2010.

Joining Marcus in the tent across the weekend will be a host of familiar faces from The Great British Bake Off. Martha Collison featured on GBBO in 2014 and was the youngest participant at just 17 years old. After reaching the quarter-finals, Martha went on to run a successful baking blog, publish two cookery books and write a weekly column for Waitrose Weekend newspaper. Candice Brown, winner of the 2016 series and author of two cookbooks, will take to the stage on Friday, while Lizzie Acker, quarter-finalist from 2021 and advocate for neurodivergence, dyslexia and dyspraxia, will take to the stage on Sunday, along with fellow series contestant Freya Cox (known for her excellent vegan bakes). As well as Q&A sessions, visitors can enjoy cake and dessert baking demos, and fun challenges and competitions, including technical challenges and race against the clock competitions.

An extra special guest at this year’s show, former BBC Strictly Come Dancing star, singer, TV presenter, author, philanthropist and farmer, JB Gill will dazzle visitors with his dancing skills at the Dance Tent in the Vintage Village on Saturday. JB first rose to fame after competing in ITV’s The X Factor, forming the boyband JLS which went on to achieve five number one singles, over 10 million record sales, two Brit awards and five MOBO awards in just five years. JB is now an established member of the farming community, with his own farm in Kent, and contributes to BBC’s Countryfile and Springwatch, as well as Channel 5’s On The Farm. JB is passionate about educating children on the origins of their food.
