DEALING WITH UNINVITED AND UNWANTED GUESTS IN THE GREENHOUSE

Now that temperatures are falling its time to bring tender plants back into the protection of the greenhouse and with them uninvited and unwanted guests – slugs and vine weevils.

These infest pots and containers and as soon as the soil warms up in the greenhouse they will become active, voraciously chomping away at your prized plants.   To kill them off your treatment has to penetrate deep into the soil and the only effective way to achieve this is with Nemasys slug and vine weevil nematodes.

Two entirely different species of nematode prey on these pests so it is necessary to use both Nemaslug and Nemasys Vine Weevil Killer.  Both can be mixed together in the watering can or hose feeder and watered onto the pots.

These are British bred and are grown at state-of-the-art facilities at Littlehampton in East Sussex.  If used throughout the winter months when the weather is above freezing, they will protect all of your favourite plants – geraniums, herbs and other over-wintering plants.  The Nemasys Vine Weevil Killer is unique in that it will remain fully active right down to 5 degrees Centigrade.
