Little Gardeners Adds NEW Caterpillar Growing Kit for 2021

It’s easy for children to start plants off in their very own fun caterpillar greenhouse. With an RRP of £11.00, the product is a new addition to the popular Little Gardeners range from Johnsons and includes everything needed for children to learn how to sow seeds and look after them as they grow, following simple steps.

Each windowsill friendly kit comprises of a re-usable caterpillar shaped propagator tray and lid along with basil, pepper (sweet) and tomato seeds. It also contains a handy leaflet with clear instructions, growing tips and a pizza recipe, plus mess-free expandable compost pellets and wooden labels on which children can write the variety they are growing. Children love growing cress and the Little Gardeners Cress Garden kit (RRP £4.00) is a quick and easy way to do just that – the box turns into a fun garden scene in which children can grow cress in as little as seven days.

For their own flower patch, there is a choice of three flower mixes for children to sow. Simply dig over the soil, shake out the seed, rake in, water and watch pretty flowers grow. Available as a blue, pink or wildlife attracting mix, each with an RRP of £3.00.

The Mini Sunflowers and Yummy Strawberries grow kits (RRP £4.50) consist of 2 litre plant pots with seed and compost along with stickers to decorate the pot and other fun activities. Finally, the Mini Greenhouse from Little Gardeners is a fun to build, reusable propagator. With an RRP of £12.00, it includes everything to get started and more, with seeds, a large compost disc and a handy widger and dibber tool.
