BBC broadcaster Tanya Beckett will be among the guest speakers at the GARDEN Centre Association (GCA) annual conference later this month (January 20th until 23rd, 2019).
Tanya is set to talk about business and the economy at the conference, which will be held at the Luton Hoo Hotel, Luton, on Tuesday, the 22nd of January .
Iain Wylie, the current Chief Executive of the Garden Centre Association, commented: “We’re honoured to have respected BBC broadcaster, Tanya, joining us for our annual conference and inspiring our attendees with her talk all about business and the economy. Tanya has been employed in broadcasting and the media for more over twenty years. She started her career at the Financial Times and went on to be employed by CNBC, Sky News, CNN. She has worked for the BBC since nineteen ninety eight.
While working at the BBC she has been involved with a variety of programmes, including BBCWorld News, the Newschannel, Radio 4, BBC1, BBC2, Working Lunch, Today, World Business Report and Newsnight. She also resided in New York for three while reporting for the BBC.
The GCA represents nearly 200 garden centres across the nation. By pooling information and its scheduled inspections, the GCA enables members to provide high standards in customer service, plant quality and reliability.
