Grow up, not out: transform every wall into a wildlife-friendly green oasis with Eggologic

Vertical gardening has evolved and Eggologic is leading the charge. This innovative, modular system proves that growing upwards can deliver far more than style alone. Designed to bring nature into even the smallest spaces, Eggologic helps households boost plant health, nurture wildlife, and make a meaningful, feel-good contribution to the natural world.

As more of us seek to connect with nature in compact gardens, courtyards, balconies and urban settings, vertical planting continues to captivate. But demand is growing for wall-mounted solutions that do more. Eggologic delivers exactly that. Its versatile, mix-and-match pods – Planter, Trellis, Nester and Hive – give users the power to design a unique vertical garden, switch up the layout as often as they like, and support biodiversity at the same time.

With contemporary looks, meticulous engineering and ecological intelligence at its heart, Eggologic invites gardeners and nature-lovers to unleash their creativity. Each egg-shaped pod has been carefully developed to be easy to use, ideal for healthy plant growth, and supportive of native birds, bees and other beneficial insects.

At the core of the concept is a universal mounting system. Every Eggologic pod, whatever its function, snaps into the same smart shell, making assembly effortless and rearranging your scheme as simple as click, lift, swap. Updating your living wall has never been easier.

Gardening for good

Eggologic’s products are far from ornamental novelties. Developed and tested in collaboration with biologists, botanists and ornithologists, every pod is designed to provide an optimal micro-environment for plants and wildlife.

Crafted from non-toxic, 100% recycled materials, these pioneering pods enable you to grow herbs, flowers or produce vertically while offering safe habitat for native birds and pollinators. Whether tucked onto a balcony wall or installed in a city courtyard, an Eggologic garden becomes a thriving mini-ecosystem, providing beauty, a sense of connection, and a positive environmental impact.

Build your perfect living wall

Create your own bespoke arrangement using any combination of Eggologic pods:

PLANTER (£27) – Simple, stylish and engineered with botanists for optimal growth of herbs, flowers and compact edibles. An insulated dual-shell design promotes airflow around roots and guards against temperature swings, while built-in drainage prevents overwatering.

TRELLIS (£23) – Designed to pair with the Planter pod to support vining and trailing plants. Its open, sculptural front structure doubles as a feeding space in winter, or a depot for nesting materials, helping local birds build safe homes.

NESTER (£33) – Created alongside ornithologists to provide a secure, climate-optimised enclosure for cavity-nesting species. Features include a protective canopy, ventilation ports, and textured kerf detailing for safe footing whilst helping deter predators.

HIVE (£33) – Developed with biologists as a cool, protected nesting chamber for solitary bees, helping to support vital pollinator populations in gardens of every size.

All pods come in three elegant colourways – Stone Grey, Tuscan Green and Harvest Orange – to complement any outdoor space. Eggologic garden pods and refills are available now at www.eggologic.com.

Transform your walls. Feed your creativity. Support the planet – one pod at a time.

Did you know – gardens & urban living in the UK

  • In 2024 the UK urban population was recorded as 58.8million
  • Around 21.7% of people live in a maisonette, flat or apartment. This equates to 5.4million households[i]
  • The median garden size for a house across Great Britain is just 188m2
  • Gardens in London are 26% smaller than the national average and the smallest of any region or country in Great Britain[ii].
  • In a recent study, 87% of UK adults said access to nature is important to their physical and mental wellbeing[iii]
  • Since 1970, populations of wild birds have declined by almost one fifth in both the UK and England, due to habitat loss [iv]
  • Solitary bees are known to pollinate even more plants than honey bees but numbers are dropping. Between 1980 and 2013, the solitary bee population declined by 32%[v].

About Eggologic

Eggologic is a modular vertical-garden system conceived by a team of product designers and scientists who – worried by the mounting threat of climate change – wanted to make a tangible difference, even if only in small, domestic green spaces.

What makes Eggologic distinctive is its modular architecture: you build a vertical garden using a range of “pods” – plant pods for flowers, herbs or vines; and wildlife pods such as nesters for cavity-nesting birds or “hive” pods designed to shelter solitary bees.

All pods are crafted from 100 % recycled, eco-friendly HDPE resin (with additional recycled/recyclable materials in inserts), which is durable and weather-resistant while avoiding harmful chemicals, reflecting Eggologic’s commitment to environmentally responsible garden solutions.

Because the system is modular and easy to assemble (pods snap into place on a universal mounting shell), users can expand or reconfigure their green space over time, making Eggologic as flexible and adaptive as nature itself.

Ultimately, Eggologic aims to go beyond traditional planters: it wants to offer a “vertical eco-solution” that supports biodiversity, brings plants, birds and pollinators into our living spaces, and helps create healthier ecosystems one wall-garden at a time.
