Is Spanish moss easy to grow?

Date:

Spanish moss (Tillandsia usneoides) is a very easy plant to grow as it requires very little maintenance. It is an air plant (epiphyte) and does not require soil. It can be hung from a branch or shelf to add a bit of the exotic to your design. It does not like full sun and does best in semi shade. it loves humid conditions and will do well in the bathroom. If keeping outside in the summer then it might need  a mist every week if it starts going brown. it is best to bring indoors if frost is expected.
