National green services provider Glendale has won the Karbon contract to deliver grounds maintenance services to Karbon Housing.
Karbon Housing is based in Newcastle upon Tyne and is one of the largest social housing providers in the North East, with a whopping 30,000 properties in the area.
The Karbon contract requires Glendale to carry out scheduled duties that include grass and hedge cutting, shrub and bed maintenance, leaf clearance, arboriculture works, chemical treatments, weed killing, litter collection, snow clearance and gritting.
The maintenance programme will be performed in the communal areas of properties in Corbridge, Prudhoe, Heddon, Stocksfield and Wylam over the course of the two-year contract, which has the potential for two one year extensions.
